Summer is approaching – Air in all bouncy pads

A head start on a bouncy summer bliss

Every effort was made to get all the bouncy pads in the health town of Hafnarfjörður in good order before Easter, as the sun has begun to shine brighter and for longer. All of the five bouncy pads in town are now supposed to be full of air from 9 am to 10 pm (9-22) every day. Let’s remember that the bouncy pads are common property for all of us to enjoy!

Five bouncy pads in Hafnarfjörður

Five bouncy pads have been set up in town, ever since the decision of the municipal authorities in Hafnarfjörður to purchase and install the first one in the spring of 2019. The plan is to install and open two new bouncy pads this summer, one at Hörðuvellir and one at Holtið. Today, there are bouncy pads at these locations:

• Bouncy pad at Víðistaðatún
• Bouncy pad at Óla Run field
• Bouncy pad in Setberg
• Bouncy pad at Hraunvallaskóli
• Bouncy pad in Ásland

When can you jump?

The bouncy pads are timed and open from 9 am to 10 pm (9-22)every day of the week during the summer and from 9 am to 6 pm (9-18) in spring and autumn until it freezes and winter sets in. The bouncy pads are airless during the frosty months. All “jumpers” are kindly asked to have a great time, but at the same time be careful and follow the rules that apply.
