Let’s shape a magnificent leisure center together

Your opinion matters

Would you like to help shape the new sports, leisure, and recreation center in Hamranes? We invite you to take part in a survey and share your opinion. It takes 5–10 minutes.

• The center is intended to be a dynamic hub for a variety of indoor activities. Each sport will have access to its own specialized facilities, but will also share common spaces such as changing rooms, showers, meeting facilities, a reception area, dining areas, and more.

Because Hamranes is on the edge of the urban area, the location offers a unique connection to diverse and desirable outdoor recreation areas. This creates an opportunity for comprehensive development both indoors and out.

The area being considered.

But why are we reaching out to you? To ensure the center meets the community’s expectations, we want to hear the opinions of residents and other interested parties. The survey focuses on which indoor and outdoor sports and leisure activities each person considers most important to have in the area.

• We also want to hear residents’ ideas about the necessary facilities, services, and the scale of structures that would benefit those in Hafnarfjörður who visit the area.

Your participation is important! Your answers will be used as part of the preparatory work of the working group managing the project and as a basis for future strategic decisions.

• Take the survey

Please note:

• The survey only takes a few minutes.
• All answers are completely anonymous.
• You can take the survey until the end of August.

We thank you very much for taking the time to participate and help us shape the future of the area in Hamranes.
