An application is being submitted for the child’s preschool stay at Vala.
The allocation of preschool places for the autumn takes place in March. Applications must be submitted before March 1 to ensure that they are considered during the allocation process. An application is being submitted for the child’s preschool stay at Vala.

A child may remain on a waiting list and still receive a place even if their legal residence is elsewhere. However, adaptation (the start of attendance) cannot begin unless the legal residence has been moved to Hafnarfjörður.
It is possible to apply for more than one preschool in the application. Please take a look at the preschools available, contact the respective preschool principals, and get to know their work. If there is no space in the preschool that is your first choice, the preschool listed as your second choice will determine placement. If no space is available there either, you will receive a place in a preschool that has availability.
You can choose a daily attendance time from 4 hours up to 8.5 hours.
