On Sunday, October 19th at 14:30, Tónagull, in collaboration with Hafnarborg, invites families with young children (ages 0–4) to a multilingual music workshop. In the workshop, children and parents sing songs and rhymes together, move and dance, play with colorful scarves, and try various small instruments specially chosen for this age group. The goal is to promote joy and well-being through music and movement, for both children and parents alike.
The program was developed by Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir, Professor of Music Education at the University of Iceland School of Education, and has been offered continuously since 2004. Hafnarborg has collaborated with Tónagull since spring 2020, when regular music workshops in Polish were first introduced at the museum.
Please note that no previous musical experience or Icelandic language skills are required—families of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds are warmly welcome. Tónagull is for everyone!
Instructor: Natalia Duarte Jeremías
Registration is available here.
