Twice a year, the Culture and Tourism Committee of Hafnarfjörður invites applications for grants supporting cultural activities and the development of cultural life in the town. The aim is to promote cultural work in line with the town’s cultural policy and to support individuals and organizations in artistic and cultural creation. Artists, associations, institutions, or cultural events must have a connection to Hafnarfjörður—either through residence, by holding events in the town, or by showcasing Hafnarfjörður’s cultural activities.

Information about the grant application process, allocation rules, and what applicants should keep in mind can be found here.

If you have a good idea waiting to come to life, we encourage you to apply for the next round. It benefits everyone.

Warm congratulations to all who received grants.
