Diverse summer courses for 6-13 year olds

Diverse courses and summer leisure activities are available to children and young people aged 6-13 years on behalf of Hafnarfjarðarbær in the summer of 2024. Great emphasis is placed on offering high levels of professional and pedagogical activities including; creativity, collaboration, outdoor activities, physical activity and games in all organized activities of the municipality, for an affordable participation fee. On the Hafnarfjarðarbær website you can view detailed information about the courses and summer leisure activities offered this summer as well as information about the Hafnarfjörður Working School.

• Summer leisure activities for graduating groups of kindergarteners (turning 6 years old this year)
• Summer leisure activities for 7-9 year olds at all primary schools
• The Sumarklettur program for children aged 9-13 with special support needs
• Leisure activities for 10-13 year olds
• Fun and creative summer courses at Hafnarborg museum for 6-12 year olds
• Summer reading from June 1st – August 31st at Hafnarfjörður´s Library
• Work school for 14-17 year olds in Hafnarfjörður
• Other sports and recreational activities in Hafnarfjörður
