Leisure activities for children with disability

Kletturinn offers a wide range of leisure activities for children and young people with disability or diagnoses in grades 4–10. Kletturinn is located in Húsið on Suðurgata 14. Emphasis is on professional service which creates an environment for practicing social and communication skills, improving self-image, and increasing social participation and activity. An effort is made to work with the strengths of each individual as well as meeting different needs.

You can apply for your child through the Vala after-school system.

Opening hours
Kletturinn is open every weekday after school finishes until 17:00. On planning days or half-days Kletturinn is open between 8:00 and 17:00. You need to apply for longer stays on these days trough email kletturinn@en.hafnarfjordur.is or by phone 565 5100. Kletturinn is closed during winter holidays.
