Victory in Samfés’ dance competition

An absolutely fantastic result was achieved when the Samfés dance competition took place in the Garðalundur youth center in February. The competition went exceptionally well. We from Hafnarfjörður had our people in the top places, including the top three in the 10–12 age category.

There was great energy in the hall, and it was clear that the competitors had put a lot of work and ambition into their performances.

Competitions were held in individual and group categories for the age groups 10–12 and 13–16. The acts were varied, creative, and powerful, and it was a joy to see how much dance enthusiasm and talent the young people showed on stage.

The judges of the competition were Baldvin, Inga María, and Eydís Gauja. They did not have an easy task choosing the winners.
