Ágúst B. Eiðsson graduated from the painting department of the Icelandic Academy of Fine Arts in 1996. He has held several solo and group exhibitions, this is his second exhibition at Litla Gallerý and is an independent continuation of an earlier exhibition that was in 20.2 – 23.2 / 2025, he has also exhibited at the Museum House in Sauðárkrókur, Villa Nova, Hotel Varmahlíð and with the Solón art association located in the Gúttó house in Sauðárkrókur.

This exhibition features oil paintings that are colourful and have a subdued natural atmosphere along with abstract forms, the colour is allowed to flow across the painting surface in multi-tonal colour combinations in the foreground as well as the background.

Ágúst recently moved to Reykjavík where he now pursues his art and this is his second solo exhibition in the Greater Reykjavík area.”

There will be a special exhibition opening on Thursday, August 4th  from 18:00-21:00 and everyone is welcome!
