„Með sól í hjarta“ – photo exhibition on the LED display at Fjarðarkaup on Museum Night
In collaboration with Fjarðarkaup and Ledbirting, Fókus – the association of photography enthusiasts – will present a photo exhibition on the Fjarðarkaup advertising display during Museum Night, on February 6th.
These are photographs by Fókus members, shown on the outdoor LED advertising screen located by the Fjarðarkaup parking lot. It will function somewhat like a drive‑in cinema, with a new sequence starting at the beginning of each hour.
The screenings begin at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, and 23:00 and each lasts for 15 minutes. The remaining 45 minutes of each hour show regular advertisements. At the beginning of the next hour, the next 15‑minute run of images begins again, and so on.
We would like to thank Fjarðarkaup and Ledbirting for their generous support.
We would also like to draw attention to the exhibitions that Fókus is presenting at the Reykjavík Museum of Photography: “SKOTIÐ í Fókus 2026.” There will be seven themed exhibitions throughout the year; the currently open exhibition is “Hreyfing”. We encourage everyone to stop by the museum.
We hope many will enjoy the event, and we wish you a wonderful Museum Night.
