Museum Night will be back on the first Friday in February!

The building opens at 18:00 with coffee, chocolate, and a relaxed atmosphere. Board games will be available in the music section, and the sewing workshop will be open on the 2nd floor, where the Heima team will be working. A workshop for the younger generation will run from 18:15 to 19:45, perfect for little hands eager to explore sewing. Materials will be provided.

At 19:30, the band LEA takes the stage. Made up of friends Katrín, Lára, and Ella, who met at Menntaskólinn í tónlist, the band draws inspiration from indie pop and folk music, emphasizing personal and poetic lyrics. Their songwriting is influenced by the people around them and the beautiful Icelandic nature. Two members, Katrín and Lára, will perform on guitar and vocals, playing both new and older songs for visitors.

At 20:10, the sewing workshop resumes, offering guidance to older designers and craft enthusiasts. Everyone will have the chance to try handcrafts from the world of historical clothing under the direction of Hugrún Óskar, master tailor.

The building closes at 22:00.
