On Sunday, September 21st at 14:30, Tónagull, in collaboration with Hafnarborg, offers a multilingual music workshop for families with young children (ages 0–4). In the workshop, both children and parents will enjoy singing songs and rhymes, moving and playing with colorful scarves, and experimenting with various small instruments specially selected for this age group. The goal of the workshop is to promote joy and well-being through music and movement, for both children and parents.

The course content was developed by Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir, Professor of Music Education at the School of Education, University of Iceland, and has been offered continuously since 2004. Hafnarborg has partnered with Tónagull since spring 2020, when regular music workshops in Polish were first offered at the museum. It is important to note that no prior musical experience is required, nor is knowledge of Icelandic necessary—families of all languages and cultural backgrounds are warmly welcome. Tónagull is for everyone!

The instructor is Natalia Duarte Jeremías.

Registration takes place here.
