Norðurberg Preschool is located in the northern part of Hafnarfjörður and opened on August 16th,  in 1982. Today, Norðurberg is a six-department preschool and can accommodate up to 101 children and 34 employees. The environment of the preschool is very special and beautiful. The lava, moss, trees, cliffs and not to mention the beach are all located near the preschool grounds and provide great opportunities for natural play and discovery.
