Encouragement Awards 2026 – Nominations

Do you know someone who has had a positive impact on the lives of primary school children?

The Hafnarfjörður Parents’ Council is seeking nominations for its Encouragement Awards. A nominated individual may, for example, have:

• promoted strong cooperation among parents in primary schools
• initiated innovative work within schools, sports, or leisure activities
• worked to strengthen connections between home, school, and the community
• contributed selflessly to the benefit of primary school children
• shown special dedication to the wellbeing of children and young people

Please submit a nomination together with a short justification to assist the selection committee in its decision. The nomination deadline is May 5th, and the awards will be presented on May 21st.
