Memmm Play open preschool – Twice a week in June

The open preschool Memmm has launched a summer program. It is now possible to attend in various locations in Hafnarfjörður and Reykjavík twice a week. The school will be located both in Hellisgerði and at Víðistaðatún.

Memmm, the preschool will move its activities outdoors this summer. Twice a week, you can participate and enjoy time with other parents, guardians, and their children. At it´s height, round 50 families have gathered in Memmm’s open preschool on Monday mornings at Selhella. Mayor Valdimar Víðisson recently learned about the activities of the preschool and came by for a visit.

The summer schedule for June

Now the summer schedule for these fun family mornings will take place twice a week throughout June in the capital area – BBQ and fun. If you have a little one who enjoys meeting peers, it’s perfect to visit the open preschool, grab a coffee, chat with other parents or guardians, and let the children play.

June 11 – Elliðaárstöðin
June 16 – Hellisgerði
June 18 – Norræna húsið
June 23 – Hellisgerði park
June 25 – BBQ in Gufunesbær
June 30 – BBQ at Víðisstaðatún park

Everyone is welcome to come together to enjoy nature and the wonderful outdoor recreational areas that can be found in our immediate surroundings.

Memmm is an open preschool that provides facilities for playing and meeting other families. You are welcome to visit Memmm at any time during opening hours. The staff warmly welcomes guests, offers coffee, and organizes singing sessions. The service is completely free of charge.
